INTRODUCTION:

This establishment was started way back in the year 1962 by Dr Virendra Prasad Verma and Dr Mrs Sone Prabha Verma on completion of their formal training of Naturopathy at Begumpeth , Hyderabad . Presently known as Gandhi Nature Cure College. This establishment was named as Nature Cure Home and later on the name was changed to Nature Cure Center and in the year 1981 this establishment was registered as Nature Cure Hospital Trust. The hospital administration is run by the Managing Trustee and the trustees. The Managing Trustee is Dr Virendra Prasad Verma and Trustees are Dr Mrs Sone Prabha Verma, Sri Rajender Baid, Sri Syam Lal Agarwal, Mr Rajender Baid, Sri Raj Kumar Sharma. This Institution is 20 bedded (indoor) IPD and (Out Patient ) OPD facilities along with the 05 Large Bath rooms for hydrotherapy, Colon Irrigation system, Steam bath, Herbal massage , 01 big Yoga and Prayer hall, Library facilities and Audio visual entertainment facilities for patients . There is separate arrangement for the Ladies and Gents Treatment.

TRAINING/COURSE:

This Institution conducts NDDY 3 ½ years Diploma course and 01 year Sahayak Chikitsak course which is under the Gandhi National Academy of Naturopathy , New Delhi. This is only the examination center for the entire North East region. Time to time awareness camps are also being conducted in the different locality.

OUTSTANDING CASE HISTORY:

Out standing case history are kept in records and the analysis of the case history forwarded to the concerned authorities, Gandhi Smarak Prakritik Chikitsa Samiti, New Delhi and National Institute of Naturopathy Pune.

What is Nature Cure?

Nature Cure is a constructive method of treatment which aims at the basic cause of disease through the rational use of the elements freely available in Nature i.e. Water, Earth ,air , Sun & Ether. Its not only a system of healing , but also way of a life. It’s a complete revolution in the art and science of living. The credit for the name of Naturopathy goes to Dr Benedict Lust (1872-1945)

Nature Cures, not the Physician - Hippocrates (The father of medicines) 460-370 B.C strongly advocated it.

Basic Principles:

There are three basic principles. These principles are based on the conclusions reached from over a century of effective naturopathic treatment of diseases in Germany, America and Great Britain. They have been tested and proved over and over again by the result obtained.

1. The first and most basic principle of nature cure is that all forms of disease are due to the same cause namely , the accumulation of waste materials and bodily refuse in the system. These waste material in the healthy individual are removed from the system through the organs of elimination. But in the disease person , they are steadily pilling up in the body through the years of faulty habits of living.

2. Second principle of Nature Cure is that all acute diseases such as fever, cold, inflammations, digestive disturbances and skin eruptions are nothing but the self initiated efforts on the part of the body to throw off all accumulated waste materials . And all that chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, rheumatism, asthama, kidney disorder are the results of continued suppression of acute disease through harmful methods such as drugs, vaccines, narcotics and gland extracts.

3. The third principle of nature cure is that the body contains an elaborate healing mechanism which has the power to bring about a return to normal condition of health. The power to cure disease lies with in the body itself and not in the hands of doctors .
